  1. I am also an owner in one of the apartments in Metropolis. I am my husband have not gone through the pain and frustration as much as some of the others, but we understand what you are going thorugh because in the limited time we have interacted with the company, we have had ample reason to be unhappy.

We joined the fray at the Metropolis project last August, i.e August 2008.

But every timeline commitment has been violated ever since, and even now, when we have to travel back from overseas to take possession and move our belongings into the complex, we do not get any replies to queries that we make to our contact person.

While it is true that we have had a good experience with one of the members of the office, by and large the sales officers, especially the more senior people have been non-responsive.

We have ahd a particularly frustrating experience with the 'site visits' after we booked. We visited the site twice, both times with the intentionof visiting the apartment we have purchased. Once we had taken our parents there, wo were visiting bangalore and naturally wanted to see the place!! We went through an experience where we had gone for a site visit, and not only were we not shown our apartment, but a close copy, we were also kept waiting incessantly to meet some 'senior' officer, who turned up and in effect said nothing special! (Remember, we had gone there with aged parents and our daughter is 2 years old, and we were kept waiting way past the limit of patience as well as endurance for the aged and young.) And this was just one of the visits. Every visit has been along similar lines. So for those who havent made site visits, I just wanted to say, perhaps you have been spared additional frustration!!

Also, we were offered a 'package' deal saying they would do our kitchens and wardrobes in the bedrooms as a special offer. But our experience with this has been particularly frustrating..firstly the colour options are limited. We were shown one finished apartment as an example of the owrk of the interiors. We were quite happy with that and naturally expected that to be the offer.

The surprise came in the fact that they did not have the same plan on offer for us. And what they had on offer for us, those 'lucky few'given the 'special offer', was apparently some upgraded version, which for some reason had only two colour options. In the 'example' apartment the children's room was done up in bright colours. The 'upgraded' version was plain white. And until we actually see the apartment, we will not know what the true quality fof the partment will be...I have nightmares everyday even imagining all the things that can go wrong!

I only hope the project is finished someday, and we get to live in it in some measure of peace and quiet. We currently rent an apartment at Gardenia, and the atmosphere at the complex there was a major influencing factor in choosing Metropolis. That is the hope that we hold in our hearts and slave away to fill the EMI payments on the apartment- the hope of a home. Good luck to all us hopefulls!!
