Status of Brigade Metropolis Project

Three years and still counting.....

How do you feel when your builder regularly updates status of the project through photos and videos on the site? You are excited viewing your dream home inching step by step.The first thought which strikes the mind is that the Builder is IT savvy. If you visit the Brigade site it looks really professional.
We also get the status update every month through mails and also through letters. If you are overseas or outside Bangalore this is the much awaited mail. Once status mail hits the Inbox there is sudden increase in activity at yahoo groups. Few happy with the progress and few disappointed with the progress.

What will be your reaction if there is delta progress in the project every month? I can see cocked eyebrows, fuming ears and flaring nostrils.

Here is the snail pace progress in last 6 months.

6th Jan 2008
We are pleased to inform you on the project progress of your block as on 25/12/2007. As per the current work progress, the structure has been completed. Masonry works & Internal plastering have been completed in all the floors. Internal plumbing up to 17th floor, and Dadoing (toilet) up to 13th floor have also been completed in your block.

3rd Feb 2008
Project Progress: We are pleased to inform you on the project progress of your block as on 25/01/2008. As per the current work progress, the vault roof has been completed. Plumbing on 18h floor and Toilet Dadoing of 15th floor are in progress in your block.

5th March 2008
Project Progress: We are pleased to inform you on the project progress of your block as on 25/02/2008. As per the current work progress, Masonry and Internal Plastering have been completed. Plumbing on 19h floor is under progress in your block.

10th April 2008
We are pleased to inform you on the project progress of your block as on 31/03/2008. As per the current work progress, plumbing on 19th floor and Toilet Dadoing of 17th floor are in progress in your block.

9th May 2008
As per the current work progress External plastering, plumbing works and toilet dadoing are under progress in your block. (concealed) works excluding fixtures and fire fighting works (excluding testing & commissioning) have

5th June 2008
As per the current work progress, Structure, masonry works and internal plastering have been completed. Internal plumbing, toilet and Kitchen dadoing are also under progress in your block.

12th July 2008
As per the current work progress, Structure, masonry works, internal plastering, internal plumbing and toilet dadoing have been completed. Kitchen dadoing is under progress in your block.

6th Aug 2008
As per the current work progress, Structure, masonry works, internal plastering, internal plumbing, kitchen & toilet dadoing have been completed. Flooring, painting, external plastering and doors fixing are under progress in your block.

7th Sept 2008
As per the current work progress, Structure, masonry
works, internal plastering, internal plumbing, toilet & Kitchen dadoing
and Doors shutter fixing have been completed. Flooring in 7th & 8th
Floor, external plastering, civil works and shaft civil works fixing are
under progress, external painting has commenced. Internal painting,
window fixing, wiring works yet to start in your block.

Recently I visited Empire state building at NY and I found that 102 floor was built in 3 yrs 1929-1931. Technology might have taken giant leap in 75 yrs.
Metropolis coming with 19 floors started in 2005 and it's 2008 still progressing and yes Brigade has tie up with leading international firms too :-)

I will be surprised if entire construction gets over by 2009. BTW, I just heard that there is some foreign technology being used which expedites the construction work :-)

When is the Completion or Possession date of Brigade Metropolis project?
